About

I am a product engineer. Since January 2026 I have been building Spliz on my own — a group payment app — from the product to the smart contract, from the database to store publication. Nobody else is on it.

Before that, five years at Mazarine, a Paris agency: apprentice in 2020, lead when I left in 2025. Full stack, most of it on the Musée du Louvre website, then a last year on Orient Express.

What I do

My degree is titled digital solutions designer. It is still the best description of my work. My stack is JavaScript, but that is not my scope. What I bring is understanding a product need and answering it technically, from the first trade-off through to production.

In practice that shows up as one constant reflex: I would rather build the mechanism that prevents the mistake than fix the mistake. On the Louvre website, a shared JSON Schema makes the contract between back end and front end verifiable instead of a spoken convention. On Orient Express, a generation script makes components compliant by default instead of relying on everyone's discipline. On Spliz, guard tests make an entire class of financial bug impossible to reintroduce.

Background

Between seventeen and nineteen, ten years ago now, I played Vainglory professionally, a mobile MOBA: European champion with SK Gaming, tournaments in Las Vegas and London. It is where I learned to train something deliberately and to measure my own progress. I wanted a website of my own around the same time, opened Site du Zéro, the tutorial site a generation of French developers learned on, and never stopped.

Bachelor in Web & Mobile Development at HETIC, top of my class, 2019 to 2022.

At Mazarine, the Musée du Louvrewebsite ran through all five years, and I ended up as the client's direct technical counterpart on it. My last year went to Orient Express, where I held technical ownership. I also contributed to projects for Chanel, Dior, Van Cleef & Arpels, Ritz Paris, Opéra national de Paris and Balmain.

In late 2024, while still in the job, I started learning web3. Finance has interested me for a long time, and so have questions of freedom. Bitcoin, then Cardano, then smart contracts, then zero-knowledge proofs. What held my attention comes down to one question: what does trust cost, and how far down can that cost go.

I left when the agency withdrew remote work. I also wanted to travel, and to build something of my own.

Both happened in the same place. On New Year's Eve 2025, in Montréal, I spent twenty minutes trying to pay a friend back 47 Canadian dollars. He used Interac, someone else used Pix, I used Wero. None of those rails speak to each other. We said we would settle it later, and we never did.

“We'll settle it later” is a trust cost. Someone fronts the money and bets on everyone else. The bet sometimes fails, and what is lost is not only the amount.

That is the question Spliz answers. I started coding it on 15 January 2026, and it asks nobody to trust anybody: everyone signs, and settlement is atomic.

What I am looking for

Barcelona and Montréal are the two cities I would move for. Anywhere else, we can talk about how it works.

Ideally in web3, as a product engineer, on something close to what I am building with Spliz. Otherwise full stack suits me well. Freelance or employed, either works.

Outside work: blockchain, piano, running, chess.
